Welcome to the Primary Parent Portal, here you will find everything you need to know about school life whether your child is in the Early Years or in Primary at Park Lane International School. We value each child as an individual and we aim to nurture the whole child. First and foremost, we believe parents play a significant role in their child’s education and a firm partnership between school and home provides a solid foundation for learning. We hope you find the parent portal easy to use.
The wellbeing of the whole child is paramount at Park Lane and we work hard to ensure that each child is supported academically as well as socially. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Early Years and Primary is Mr Joe Eyles and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead is Ms. Nicola Wardlaw. If you have any concerns relating to the wellbeing of your child in school, please contact your child’s class teacher or you can contact the Head of Primary and Early Years or the Deputy Head of Primary.
Distance Learning in Early Years and Primary
Primary Distance Learning Plan
Park Lane is a community of teachers and learners and thus this Distance Learning Plan is equally important for pupils to engage in their learning from home as well as teachers having the chance to deliver exciting learning opportunities for the pupils in their class. As this is a new initiative, the Primary leadership teams are very aware to deliver the plan in phases of implementation. The first phase aims to use online learning apps and resources that parents and carers, teachers and pupils are familiar with and confident to use.
Please can I ask you to remember that our Primary Distance Learning Plan will be under constant review and altered when appropriate. Your son / daughter's class teacher and Primary leadership team member are still actively engaging in teaching and learning tasks.
We will keep you closely informed if there are any changes.
Ms Nicola Wardlaw
Deputy Head of Primary and EYFS
