Key Stage 4 Tutors
Key Stage 4 Curriculum
In Years 10 and 11, our curriculum is based around the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme offered by Cambridge.
Students in Years 10 and 11 study a range of compulsory / optional subjects, and electives (non-examined). You can find a description of each of these courses below.

It is ideal preparation for higher-level courses such as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). IGCSEs are taught in over 100 countries throughout the world and are recognised as qualifications for matriculation or equivalence purposes for universities in the United Kingdom and many other countries.

Note
Students who fall under the compulsory requirements of the Czech education system must choose Czech as one of their options. This course is not an IGCSE, but it is an important prerequisite for the IB Czech A: Literature course. Czech as an Additional Language (CAL) is also not an IGCSE subject but aims to improve language skills for non-native speakers of Czech.
